Disaster Ready Quad Cities serves as the single source for coordinating the efforts of organizations, not individual people, active in disaster preparation and recovery.

As organizations active in disasters, we understand people want to help. We connect these people and organizations that can help, to those who need the help. This is why an organization like Disaster Ready Quad Cities is vital to our community.

Before, during and after a catastrophic event, Disaster Ready Quad Cities works to eliminate barriers to help guide people to the organizations equipped to respond. We help prevent duplication of efforts. And work together to help those who may have been overlooked for assistance.

Together, we are stronger and more effective.

HOW DISASTER READY QUAD CITIES WORKS

Each Disaster Ready Quad Cities member organization has a good or service to offer. By collaborating, the group identifies needs and finds a match to the needed good or service within the group, or through external connections. This efficient method of matchmaking helps link those in need to those who can help expedite recovery.
